PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit where a lens is accurately attached and fixed at a predetermined position in a cylindrical holder in a short time, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The lens unit is equipped with: the first cylindrical holder 1 having translucency; the lenses 4, 5 and 6 attached and fixed in the first cylindrical holder 1 with ultraviolet curing type adhesives 8a, 8b, 8c and 9; and the second cylindrical holder 2 having light shielding property, which the first cylindrical holder 1 is attached and fixed inside.
