PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sugar material molded product which is characterized by extremely low environmental load upon disposal, efficiency, low cost, high safety, high structural strength, high stability, and high process tolerance, and can be a general-purpose molded product having an arbitrary shape and a method for producing the composite sugar material molded product. SOLUTION: The composite sugar material molded product is produced by the production method comprising mixing an anhydrous saccharide, from which crystallization water has been removed, with a water-soluble polysaccharide to obtain a water-soluble composite sugar material and drying and solidifying the composite sugar material as a base material.
