PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide positional information and estimated arrival time to a general-purpose telephone by simple operation, without using special dedicated service. SOLUTION: A navigation device specifies as a telephone number of notification destination, a telephone number of a partner, to which a current location and the estimated arrival time are notified. Furthermore, the navigation device specifies the location of the fixed telephone of the notification destination by referring to telephone number data, based on the specified telephone number of the notification destination. Moreover, the navigation device detects the current location by GPS functions or the like. Furthermore, the navigation device calculates the estimated arrival time to the specified location, from the detected current location. The navigation device sends location information regarding the current location and/or the calculated estimated arrival time, to the fixed telephone that is the notification destination.
