PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system actualizing storage environment superior in convenience by setting a monitoring operation mode depending on a time zone. SOLUTION: As a time zone comes, a locking/unlocking individual management mode or a concurrent unlocking mode is selected. In the locking/unlocking individual management mode, each locking/unlocking device 20 is controlled in accordance with user identification information for a user identified through a card reader 40.
