PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a seal from being forged which can distinguish a customer-registered seal and checking the use of a seal for illegal act like forgery. SOLUTION: A dividing line 4 is drawn in a position for dividing a designated seal affixing spot 2 of the registered seal of a pasteboard 1 for certification which has the designated seal affixing spot 2 of the registered seal and a seal affixing spot 3 for collation. A print of seal of a customer is affixed at the designated seal affixing spot 2 for the registered seal of the forgery-proof pasteboard for certification. Then under this state, the spot 2 is divided using the dividing line 4 as a borderline. Further, one side piece 1a having only the registered seal affixing spot 2 of the registered seal, is pasted to a deposit passbook 10 of the customer.
