PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck which can prevent volume change and pressure variation due to a draw bar in an inner part space, and prevent discharge of a lubricant or suction of a cutting fluid. SOLUTION: A chuck body having an inner part space is composed by clogging a rear part of a front body 3 having a recessed rear central part with a rear cover 4. A guide hole 32 communicating to the inner space 5 is provided on the front body 3, and the draw bar 34 is slidably fittingly inserted in the guide hole 32. The rear end part 34a of the draw bar 34 is inserted into an insertion space 37 communicating to a chuck outer part provided on the rear cover 4. The lubricant is filled in the inner space 5, the volume and the pressure of the inner space 5 are prevented from being changed by the forward and backward movement of the draw bar 34 to prevent the discharge of the lubricant and the infiltration of the cutting fluid.
