PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems: such that the leaf portions of mat seedlings can well not be lodged with a lodging means on the rolling side in a seedling rolling auxiliary device, when the conditions of the seedlings, such as the thicknesses or lengths of the leaves of the mat seedlings or the strength of a seedling bed portion, are different; such that a roll seedling is occasionally formed in such a state that the leaf portions of the mat seedling are largely protruded on the outside; and such that the plantation of the seedlings with a seedling transplanter is troubled. SOLUTION: This seedling rolling auxiliary device is characterized by having a lodging means for acting on the leaf portions of the mat seedlings to lodge the leaf portions on a rolling side, when the mat seedlings are rolled, and a position-changing means for changing the mat seedling leaf portion-acting vertical position of the lodging means. The seedling rolling auxiliary device, wherein a guide means for inward guiding the leaf portions of the right and left outside portions of the mat seedlings, when the mat seedlings are rolled.
