PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making thick film compositions using a polymer solution. SOLUTION: The method of forming the polymer solution for using in thick film use includes (a) a step of providing an ethylenic unsaturated monomer, (b) a step of providing a high-boiling solvent having a boiling point of 160°C-300°C, and (c) a step of polymerizing monomers of (a) and together with a solvent of (b) thereby to form the polymer solution including a copolymer.
