<p>A cement for indiarubber comprises a solution of indiarubber and partly polymerized mono- or di-vinyl acetylene containing also vulcanizing-agents and driers.ALSO:Natural or synthetic indiarubber is bonded to another material, such as a metal, by means of an intermediate film comprising polymerized mono- or di-vinyl acetylene or a homologue thereof. If desired, the intermediate film may be coated with a rubber cement before applying unvulcanized rubber thereto. Preferably the intermediate film is obtained by drying of a solution of indiarubber and polymerized mono- or di-vinyl acetylene containing also vulcanizing-agents and driers.</p> |
