摘要

FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, working screws with circular helical surface having large pitch and small spacing between apex and recess for screw pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes spindle with cutting tool. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities, cutting tool is made in the form of cylindrical milling cutter mounted in oscillation head by inclination angle corresponding to inclination angle of helical line and having individual drive of main cutting motion corresponding to tool rotation. Head with tool is mounted with possibility of additional oscillation motion related through kinematics links and matched with rotation of blank relative to oscillation axis normal to and passing through tool axis in its crossing point with plane including blank axis and perpendicular connecting axes of blank and tool at zero oscillation angle. Maximum value of oscillation angle is determined with use of given formula. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of apparatus. ^ 3 dwg
