PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method of a coating film which enables the suitable repair of an unevenness on the surface of the coating film generating in repairing and also is excellent in adhesiveness of a repairing part. SOLUTION: The repairing method of the coating film has the step of removing an abnormal part 6 of a laminated coating film containing a clear coating film 5 with the fracture energy of 0.07-1.2 J, the step of grinding a rough-polish grinding range 9, which contains an abnormal-part removing range 7 after the abnormal part is removed, using a grinding material of the average particle diameter of 0.3-15.0μm, the step of coating a paint for repairing to form a repairing coating film on a repairing coating range 8 contained in the rough-polish grinding range 9 while containing the abnormal-part removing range 7, and the step of grinding the rough-polish grinding range 9, which contains the repairing coating range 8 where the repairing coating film is formed, using the grinding material of the average particle diameter of 0.3-15.0μm.
