PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component retaining fixture capable of preventing a cleaning liquid from pooling around a corner or the like of the optical component and from solidifying in this state when the optical component cleaned in the cleaning liquid is taken out of a cleaning tank and dried. SOLUTION: A retaining fixture 1 of the optical component A comprises a first outer plate 2, a second outer plate 10 disposed opposite to the inner face of the first outer plate and an intermediate plate 20 disposed between the first outer plate and the second outer plate. The intermediate plate is provided with a component fitting hole 21 into which the optical component is fitted and retained. The first outer plate and the second outer plate are individually provided with outer openings 3, 11 for exposing the optical face of the optical component retained in the component fitting hole of the intermediate plate. Slipping-off inhibiting pieces 4, 12 to be brought into contact with the front and rear faces of the outer peripheral part of the optical component are provided on the inner peripheries of the individual outer openings.
