PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging/discharging controller of a secondary battery in which excess voltage variations of the secondary battery can be suppressed, when charging/discharging for the secondary battery continues over a relatively long time during temperature rise operation of the secondary battery, for example.
SOLUTION: When a decision is made that continuous charging/discharging request for a secondary battery exists during temperature rise operation of the secondary battery, for example, a controller determines a charging/discharging continuation power required for performing charging/discharging of the secondary battery continuously. The controller determines the charging/discharging continuation power such that a reduction power obtained by multiplying the charging/discharging limit power at each moment in time by a predetermined reduction constant α(0<α<1) is not exceeded. Since the charging/discharging continuation power is suppressed to be α times of the charging/discharging limit power (charge limit power WIN or discharge limit power WOUT), at the present, polarization action of the secondary battery is suppressed, and excess voltage variation of the secondary battery can be avoided.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
