<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which has a wide color reproduction range and a high contrast, exhibits high performance even in long-time use and further, ensures excellent display characteristic when used for a display device, and to provide a manufacturing method of the color filter, and a display device using the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter contains a pigment and has a contrast of at least 10,000. Further, in the manufacturing method of the color filter, pigment nano particles are incorporated into the color filter by mixing a pigment solution made by dissolving pigment into a good solvent and a solvent which is compatible with the good solvent and is poor solvent for the pigment and by producing the pigment as organic nano particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
