OPTICAL FILM, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, POLARIZING PLATE USING OPTICAL FILM AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose resin optical film capable of reducing melt viscosity and a melting temperature regardless of the kind of a cellulose resin and superior in melt moldability and mechanical characteristics, its manufacturing method, a polarizing plate using the optical film and a liquid crystal display device.

SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical film by melting and casting a cellulose resin composition containing at least the cellulose resin (a), at least one kind of an ester type plasticizer (b) selected from an ester type plasticizer composed of a polyhydric alcohol and a monovalent carboxylic acid and an ester type plasticizer composed of a polyvalent carboxylic acid and a monohydric alcohol and at least one kind of a stabilizer (c) selected from a phenolic stabilizer, a hindered amine stabilizer and a phosphorous stabilizer, the cellulose resin composition satisfies the specific necessary condition related to an yellow index YI.
