<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for deciding transmission policies for a plurality of transmissions of different types, while taking into account the quality that a user senses for the applications. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a means for obtaining a first score that is an evaluation of first transmission data in a first transmission type specific manner, a means for obtaining a second score that is the evaluation of second transmission data in a second transmission type specific manner, and a means for determining, based on the obtained first and second score, for first and second transmission a respective first and second transmission policy and a second transmission policy, each defining one or more transmission parameters, such that the sum of a first and second expected score is maximized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
