<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a recognition property and visibility of an optional ornamental symbol and also improve amusement and an entertainment property. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine having a symbol display device capable of executing a symbol variable display is provided with a main control part drawing a lottery for determining whether or not shifting to a special game awarding a state advantageous for a player when a game ball falls in an start winning hole and determining a stop symbol and a display pattern of a special symbol based on the lottery result, and a sub control means determining the stop symbol and display pattern of an ornamental symbol whose direction under symbol variation is determined to one direction according to the determined stop symbol and display pattern of the special symbol; and the sub control part changes the direction of one part of the ornamental symbol during symbol variation to one different from the one direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
