SPROCKET MADE OF STEEL PLATE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprocket the addendum shape of which is formed by two working processes by solving the problem of a sprocket wheel formed by fine blanking. SOLUTION: In the sprocket made of a steel plate which is compressed by press working, the above problem is solved by forming the surface of the top shape of the addendum into approximately the same shape as a cross section R by press working after the rear surface of the top shape of an addendum is formed into the shape of the cross section R by the shape 42 of a cutting edge of a die 40 used for the fine blanking.
