PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can be made compact by using a storage part for toner recovered from a photoreceptor cleaner in common with a storage part for toner recovered from an intermediate transfer body cleaner, and also can prevent the recovered toner clogging. SOLUTION: The toner storage part for the toner recovered from an image carrier cleaning means is used in common with the toner storage part for the toner recovered from the intermediate transfer body cleaning means, and also the recovered toner from the image carrier cleaning means and the recovered toner from the intermediate transfer body cleaning means are guided into a relay conveying means from directions different from each other, and then stored in the recovered toner storage part through the relay conveying means.
