PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect input/output devices with different transmission protocols and achieve easy use. SOLUTION: An image forming device is provided with an input/output device 4 for performing a prescribed process by transmitting and receiving a command of previously determined transmission protocol; a UI offering unit 6 for entering operation information, interpreting processing which the entered operation information requires, and requesting execution of interpreted processing; a service offering unit 7 for publishing an execution request of the processing, of which execution was requested from the UI offering unit 6; an input/output device control unit 8 for controlling the input/output device 4, based on the execution request published from the service offering unit 7; and an I/F conversion unit 9 for converting the command, which was transmitted and received when the input/output device control unit 8 controls the input/output device 4, to a command of transmission protocol of the input/output device 4.
