PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction peripheral device in which loss of some device is prevented and operability of a user can be enhanced without increasing the device cost. SOLUTION: Various functions can be performed by operating an operation key 3e arranged on a handset 3. Even when a mounted document is not set fully in a document mounting section 4, an operation key 3e arranged on the handset 3 is not covered with the document. Since a work for operating the operation key while bending the document is not required, operability of a user can be enhanced.
