PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional high frequency switch that cannot realize a high performance isolation characteristic of a high frequency switch higher than that of SPST switches used for the high frequency switch because the isolation characteristic of the high frequency switch depends on the isolation characteristic of the SPST switches used in the high frequency switch and the isolation characteristic of the SPST switch is about 20dB to 30dB. SOLUTION: A high frequency switch disclosed herein is configured such that SPST switches 6, 8 and variable phase shifters 9, 10 capable of setting a phase difference of 0°or±90°are connected in cascade to a 90°hybrid coupler 4, and a 90°hybrid coupler 11 is connected to output terminals of the variable phase shifters 9, 10, and an on/off state of the SPST switches 6, 8 and a phase shift amount of the variable phase shifters 9, 10 are controlled interlockingly with each other so that a high frequency signal received from an input terminal 1 is output to either of output terminals 2, 3.
