COATING COMPOSITION AND COATED FILM COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition and a coated film composition each having both of the wholly uniform brightness and the elegant silky feeling and sufficiently satisfying a desired design property. SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises a flaky substrate produced by a hydrothermal method and a coated film-forming resin. It is preferable that the flaky substrate is composed of alumina and the average particle diameter is≤50μm and the aspect ratio (particle diameter/thickness) is 5-500. The coated film composition is composed of a base coat layer comprising the coating composition and a clear coat layer formed on the base coat layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
