PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel organic light-emitting element extremely high in light-emitting efficiency and wide in the degree of freedom for a process and a design. SOLUTION: This is a naphthodithiophene compound represented by general formula [1] wherein at least either one of R1and R2is a substituent group containing as a partial structure either one of fluorene, phenathrene, anthracene, pyrene, pyridine, and bipyridine.
