The transport device (I) has a transport carriage (1), which is movable angularly on a frame, particularly right-angled to the transport path (4). The transportation fork is formed for lifting of workpieces (6) or workpiece holders (7). The transportation fork is vertically movable arranged at the transport carriage. An independent claim is also included for a transport system for the transport and evacuation of goods, e.g. workpieces, workpiece-supporting workpiece holders to a processing machine.
