<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor causing no color drift. <P>SOLUTION: This invention discloses the image processor for regulating color saturation. An inputted image also has brightness and a hue. The image processor is provided with a lookup table, a processing unit, and a multiplier. The lookup table is used for storing M brightness areas, N hue areas, and M×N corresponding gains. The processing unit is used for storing the lookup table and determining the position of the brightness of the inputted image in the brightness area the position of the hue of the inputted image in the hue area, and decides a corresponding gain from a plurality of gains. The multiplier is connected to the processing unit and used for multiplying the color saturation by the corresponding gain. Consequently, image quality is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
