<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable digital TV receiver capable of playing back still picture information required in emergency with high definition without requiring any broadcasting device for transmitting a still picture in the case of emergency or circuit corresponding thereto. <P>SOLUTION: When a channel being selected by a tuner section 102 is switched to an emergency broadcast channel, a playback control section 110 of a digital TV receiver extracts a video signal corresponding to the I picture from a video signal played back by a video signal processing section 106, stores it in an emergency broadcast frame memory 111, iteratively reads the video signal from the frame memory 111 and displays it on a display of a video signal display section 107. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
