<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more correctly distinguish time codes, even if the reception condition of a radio-controlled timepiece varies. <P>SOLUTION: When a reception circuit part 1 receives a time code including current time information by electric waves, a CPU 2 detects the reception condition of a wave signal and sets a pulse width determination reference value of the time code, depending on the frequency of a pulse signal constituting the time code, the noise situation or the condition of received intensity.
