PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device 5K in which the torque-up of a feed roller 10K, the unevenness of image density and the wear of the feed roller 10K caused by forming aggregated toner in a gap between the feed roller 10K and the counter side wall 14K of a feed material storage chamber 7K can be suppressed.

SOLUTION: In the developing device 5K equipped with: a developing roller 11K of developing an electrostatic latent image carried on a photoreceptor 2K; the feed material storage chamber 7K of storing a toner to be fed to the developing roller 11K; the feed roller 10K of feeding the toner carried on the circumferential face to the development roller 11K; a hopper part 6K arranged at the upper part of the feed material storage chamber 7K and also storing the toner to be supplied to the feed material storage chamber 7K; and a communication port 9K of allowing the hopper part 6K to communicate with the feed material storage chamber 7K, a eaves-like member 70K of blocking the entry of the toner on the feed roller 10K into a gap between the feed roller 10K and the counter side wall 14K of the feed material storage chamber 7K is provided just above the gap.
