<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam welding machine which is high in powder deposition efficiency and performs the welding of high quality. <P>SOLUTION: A feed outlet 5 for feeding a powder-like molten stuff to a vicinity of a condensed portion of laser beams 7 is determined to satisfy that the distance WD between a plurality of chips 4 substantially around the laser beam axis and a workpiece 6 is 5 to 10 mm, the diameter A of each powder ejection hole 5 is 0.6 to 1.0 mm, the number of the powder ejection holes 5 is 8 to 16, the laser beam condensing diameter B is 2 to 4 mm, the laser beam energy density is 200 to 1,000 W/mm<SP>2</SP>, and the powder feeding rate is 30 to 60 g/minute. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
