<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network terminal apparatus capable of executing suitable filtering processing on a transmission packet and previously preventing DDos attack or the like, by installing a transmission packet filtering function for deciding whether a transmission packet can be transmitted in accordance with a filtering condition and inspecting the transmission source address of the transmission packet, in an exclusive processor different from a host processor for managing a communication function. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission packet filtering part 3A checks each transmission packet with a filtering condition stored in a filtering condition storage part 3B and decides whether the transmission packet can be transmitted. A transmission packet judged as a transmissible packet is penetrated and sent.
