MUTANT VESICULAR STOMATITIS VIRUS AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mutant viruses with a decreased ability to block transport of mRNA or protein to nuclei in an infected cell which attenuated in vivo.

SOLUTION: Disclosed is a mutant Rhabdovirus having one or more mutation in a gene encoding a protein involved in blocking transport of mRNA or protein to nuclei in an infected cell, wherein the one or more mutation results in the mutant Rhabdovirus having a decreased ability to block transport of mRNA or protein to nuclei when compared to the wild-type virus.
