PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management program which can register an object in a plurality of registration locations and can efficiently perform a process such as generation of a set of objects satisfying a condition of being "subordinate to the object". SOLUTION: An object management section 11 is allowed to manage the attribute of an object, and a parent-child relation management section 12 is allowed to hold respective parent-child relations of the objects. Then, upon designation of a retrieval condition, following processes are executed by switching: a process to construct the parent-child relation of an object designated by the retrieval condition after referring to the parent-child information in a retrieval processing section 13; and a process allowing the parent-child relation management section 12 to construct the entire paren-child relations of the entire objects based on the parent-child information, and to extract the parent-child relation of an object designated by the retrieval condition from the constructed entire parent-child relations.
