PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve reducing resonance without affecting discharged fuel pressure with a simple construction and to provide a fuel supply device using the same. SOLUTION: When a valve member 51 of the relief valve 50 is opened by pressure pulses of fuel flowing in a fuel chamber 61, the valve member 51 of the relief valve 50 contacts with an end of a cap 52 and is thereby limited in excessive displacement. The valve member 51 is formed of elastic material and impact in collision of the valve member 51 and the cap 52 is absorbed. Resonance of a coil spring 53 of the relief valve 50 is thus reduced. This avoids need to reduce an opening area of a passage 64 formed in a wall 63 for inhibiting influence of the pressure pulses in the relief valve 50. Valve opening pressure of the relief valve 50 has no need to be reduced. The resonance of the relief valve 50 can be reduced without affecting fuel pressure adjusted by a pressure regulator 30.
