PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent product in which a beautiful pattern is engraved on side cover to enhance aesthetic value. SOLUTION: The absorbent product comprises: a central cover; a side cover which is located on right and left margins of the central cover, partly piles on the central cover and binds with the central cover by an adhesive; a lower sheet which binds with a site where the central cover and the side cover are piled, by crimp heat-sealing method; and an absorbent core located between the central cover and the lower sheet. The side cover is made of a nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric which is a material for the side cover is designed with a plurality of individual patterns. The pattern of the side cover is made by thermocompression embossing method. When the pattern is engraved by the thermocompression embossing method, the individual patterns are mutually piled and engraved in a rotative direction of a compression roller.
