<p>Each of power supply units constituting a power supply apparatus comprises a halt state latch means that detects an overcurrent on the primary side and then latches, after a lapse of a first time, a control signal, which is to control a power supply output of the power supply unit, to a predetermined halt state in which the power supply output is halted; and an output restricting means that detects an overcurrent on the secondary side and then places, after a lapse of a second time, the control signal in a predetermined restriction state in which the output of the power supply of the power supply unit is not halted but restricted. It is arranged that the second time be shorter than the first time.</p> |
