The body (1) has a core made of a ferromagnetic material, and a cylindrical cladding surrounding the core, where the cladding is made of hardened steel such that the material of the cladding does not influence magnetic field of the core. The core can be a permanent magnet, and the cladding has a cylindrical outer surface that is processed by grinding. The core is glued in a longitudinal borehole of the cladding or fastened at the ends of the borehole in the cladding by sealing plugs.
