<p>A method for displaying a picture on a display unit of an air conditioner is provided to easily recognize an operation state or predetermined information by simple touch of users, and to reduce power consumption by maintaining screen brightness to be minimized when entering into a stop mode. A method for displaying a picture on a display unit of an air conditioner comprises the steps of displaying a picture for setting a stop mode picture, selecting one of a plurality of stop mode pictures displayed on the picture for setting a stop mode, and storing the selected stop mode picture. Application of orders for the display step, the selection step and the storage step is performed by a touch screen mounted on the display unit.</p> |
