[Class 132 (ii)] In a golf club the plane of the head is offset from the ferrule or socket b, and the head itself is so formed that while the top and bottom edges are of substantially the same thickness at the mid-portion a<4>, the toe and heel portions are cut away adjacent the top but increase in thickness toward the bottom. A bulge is formed at the rear of the head, the point of maximum thickness a<5> coinciding with the centre of mass. A sight line c is provided. |
