A vibration preventing structure for a linear compressor is provided to maintain function of a stopper in spite of continuing vibration, and to improve durability, quality and productivity of the linear compressor by integrally forming the stopper with a main body frame. A vibration preventing structure for a linear compressor comprises a shell(51), a main body frame(53), a linear motor(60), a motor cover and a rear muffler. The shell is provides internal receiving space. The main body frame is elastically supported by an elastic member installed in the internal receiving space. The linear motor is installed in the main body frame. The motor cover is fixed in the linear motor so that the linear motor is located between the main body frame and the motor cover. The rear muffler is protruded in one side of the motor cover, and suctions refrigerant flowed into the inside of the shell. Up-and-down stoppers(71a) limiting up-and-down movement of the linear compressor, and left-and-right stoppers limiting rotation movement of the linear compressor are additionally included for the vibration preventing structure for a linear compressor.
