INSULATION MATERIALS FOR REDUCING A NOISE AND A IMPACT SOUND

A damping material is provided to absorb noise and shock sound by forming an air layer between a concrete slab and a foamed concrete layer. A damping material(100) is used for constructing a bottom layer on a concrete slab layer. The damping material comprises an organic or inorganic binder, which is selected from the group consisting of a waste tire chip, a rubber chip, an ethylene vinyl acetate chip, foamed polystyrene, and a mixture thereof. The damping material has a predetermined thickness and a plurality of ribs are formed at a bottom surface of the damping material. Protrusions(111) are formed on the bottom surface of the damping material at intersections between the ribs. A recess(130) is formed at a top surface of the damping material.
