A coordinate clothes hanger has a primary hanger 20 with a first body 24, a hook 22 extending upward from the first body, a first means 28 for suspending a garment from the first body 24, and a first connection tab 29 extending downward from the body 24, operative to releasably suspend a dependent hanger 30 therefrom. A connection link 40 having a locking end 42 at each end thereof is releasably attachable to the connection tab of the primary hanger 20. A dependent hanger 30 has a second connection tab 39 extending upward from the second body 32. The second connection tab 39 is operative to releasably secure the locking end of the connecting link 40. The connection tabs may have male and/or female connecting parts, for example a snap lock or retaining band. Also claimed is a dependent loop hanger which has a closed loop at one end with a shaft extending from the loop to engage with a dependent hanger similar to the first invention. Also claimed is a modular arrangement comprising a hanger with an upwardly extending connection tab for retaining a component of a second hanger (Figure 4).
