In an elevator monitor system, an operation monitor device receives data on operating conditions of elevators from a group management and control device and displays the operating conditions on a monitor. An interphone base device is connected to the operation monitor device so that they can communicate with each other. Based on information on communicating conditions of an interphone terminal device received from the interphone base device, the operation monitor device is capable of displaying the communicating conditions of the interphone terminal device. Information on channel selection for selecting an interphone terminal device can be inputted in the operation monitor device. The interphone base device is capable of transmitting information on communicating conditions and is capable of switching conditions of connection with an interphone terminal device based on the information on channel selection received from the operation monitor device.
