Control method and system to control the lighting of an elevator car

A monitoring process for an elevator cabin lighting system comprises a light sensor (12) recognizing light (22) in the cabin and giving an evaluable sensor signal (SS). A light-influencing unit (14) is controlled by a signal (CS), sensor and control signals are processed and an information signal (IS) produced. An Independent claim is also included for a monitoring system for the above process.
