<p>A display device is proposed in which scan line driver circuits are not disposed on opposite sides of a scan line, but one end of the scan line is driven by a scan line driver circuit, while the other end of the scan line is driven by a scan line auxiliary circuit which has a significantly smaller circuit scale and lower power consumption than the scan line driver circuit. The scan line auxiliary circuit is controlled with a selection pulse of the scan line or a signal of the scan line driver circuit, and is electrically connected to a fixed potential through a transistor. When a potential of the scan line is switched by the scan line driver circuit, the scan line auxiliary circuit operates so that the scan line is driven from its opposite ends.</p> |
