Provided are a far infrared-emitting functional paint, which blocks various harmful materials, exhibits air-purifying, moisturizing, and detoxifying effects, and emits far infrared rays to promote blood circulation and activate metabolism, and a manufacturing method thereof. The far infrared-emitting functional paint is manufactured by the steps of: grinding loess into fine powder(325mesh or smaller) and extracting amylopectin from plants and grains; mixing 4L of water with 40-50%, based on the volume of the water, of the amylopectin to boil an amylopectin solution at 70°C or higher; adding 30-50g, based on 4L of the amylopectin solution, of sodium chloride to the amylopectin solution; adding 0.03-0.05%, based on 4L of the amylopectin solution, of a vegetable glacial acetic acid; adding 40-50%, based on 4L of the amylopectin solution, of the loess powder when the boiled amylopectin solution is cooled to 50-70°C, and then mixing the admixture; aging the mixture in the shade for 24hours; and vacuum-packing the aged mixture or putting the mixture into a cylindrical plastic container. |
