A knuckle 13 is formed by a knuckle body 14 and a lower arm support bracket 15 fastened to front and rear fastening portions provided in a lower portion of the knuckle body with front and rear bolts 17,19. A line connecting the bolts 17,19 normally toes-in when no load F is applied to the wheel W. When a load F towards the rear of the vehicle is applied to the wheel, it acts on the knuckle 13, a kingpin trail of the suspension device S is placed inwards in the vehicle width direction causing the wheel and knuckle to oscillate in a toe-out direction to reduce the toe-in angle of line A towards zero (line A'). Further, when the knuckle bumps from a normal position, an angle of a line connecting fastening surfaces of the front and rear fastening portions moves closer to the horizontal. |
