A system (10) comprising a media player (110) configured to play media content, a projector (100) operatively coupled to the media player, and a control unit (140) operatively coupled to the media player and the projector is provided. The control unit is configured to detect an on-screen display condition associated with the media player, and the control unit is configured to prevent first information associated with the on-screen display condition and provided by the media player from being displayed by the projector in response to detecting the on-screen display condition.
