IONTOPHORESIS APPARATUS STICKING TO MUCOSA

An iontophoresis apparatus which enables the efficient and stable administration of a drug to a mucosa containing moisture in the surface thereof. More specifically speaking, an iontophoresis apparatus which comprises a power source unit, a first electrode construction being connected to the power source and releasing an ionic drug to thereby administer it to the living body via a mucosa and a second electrode construction serving as the counter electrode to the first electrode construction, wherein the first electrode construction has a pressure-sensitive adhesive part, which is located in at least a part of the end face thereof and aims at bonding the first electrode construction to the mucosa, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive part is made of a material exhibiting pressure-sensitive adhesiveness when absorbing a water-base medium.
