<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode layer for a fuel cell enhancing the productivity of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a coating step of coating a sheet-like substrate 42 with electrode paste 41 containing ion exchange resin 31 in a solvent 49, a concentration gradient step of removing a solvent on the surface 41a out of the solvent 49 by vaporization in order to form the concentration gradient so as to heighten the concentration of the ion exchange resin 31 from the surface 41a of the electrode paste 41 toward its back 41b after the coating of the electrode paste 41, and a drying step of forming a cathode 16 by removing the remaining solvent by drying the electrode paste 41 after removing the solvent on the surface 41a by vaporization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
